Reggae music is one genre that has a very specific style associated with it because of its origins from Jamaica and Rastafarianism.  Over time, the genre has expanded to include many styles of the music, but they all are rooted in the same themes and sounds.  The religion, if you want to call it that since it’s more of a spiritual movement, of Rastafarianism has a belief in God, or Jah, and also spirituality and natural living. Most true Rastas grow their hair in dreadlocks as part of their beliefs.  Smoking marijuana is also seen as enlightenment and is embraced in Rasta culture and many artists claim to write their music while under the influence of marijuana.  Reggae music is known for being relaxing, and you could say almost all reggae songs are about peace, love or weed.

Reggae style is colorful, many times the colors of the Jamaican flag, or more commonly the Rasta colors red, yellow, and green.  Beenie hats, dreads, and natural looks are all part of reggae style.  Basically, a Rasta style focuses on comfort.  Reggae genius Bob Marley set the standard for many looks that are considered traditional, like the red, green, and yellow beanie.  Here are some modern, reggae-inspired looks available at PLNDR.
